Cognology is a software and online services company with products in the Performance and Talent Management space. The business was established in 1994 to develop Human Resource technology solutions. Some projects have included:

• Software design for a $1 billion salary, share and bonus review process.

• Remuneration packaging for a company with more than 23000 employees.
  

• Application support for a large competency assessment and redeployment exercise for over 15000 employees.

• In 1997 the company began a research and development program focused on Employee Performance Management. Out of this R&D program, Cognology have developed two performance management products. The company’s focus is now entirely on this field.

Cognology Enterprise is an intranet solution typically used by larger clients.
